An MA graduate in Arabic and Social Anthropology and MSc graduate in Nationalism Studies from the University of Edinburgh, I also have extensive experience as a journalist in a leading Norwegian newspaper. Over the past few years, I have increasingly become involved in the Scottish third sector, notably by volunteering for Scottish Refugee Council and Gather Festival Edinburgh. I have also been an Intern at UN House Scotland for nearly two years. As well as my job at EPIC, I work as an interpreter for various public sector institutions across Edinburgh. In addition to my native Norwegian and English, I am also fluent in Danish, Swedish and Greek.
A bit about my organisational mission/the work that I do...
