TMP does Philosophy Once More

This TMP event is a facilitated philosophy discussion following the Socratic model of asking questions. It is an active, collaborative exercise and you can think of it as something in between a rigorous debate and a casual chat over a cuppa, with a story and some games thrown in. Developed by the London-based charity The Philosophy Foundation, the approach is designed to get people to think critically, logically, hypothetically and in a focused manner about matters of philosophical interest. The emphasis is on doing philosophy, and no previous philosophical experience is required. The topic for this session is drawn from the area of ethics and moral philosophy, so you can expect a lot of questions around ‘should’s and ‘ought’s as well as ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ in relation to behaviour and a particular moral dilemma. Hope to see you there!
