Self Care with Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a hands-on Japanese body therapy that can support you through stress & anxiety, pain and emotional issues. It can also help to maintain good health and well-being in a proactive, preventative way.

Jenny White is a shiatsu practitioner passionate about working with people from all backgrounds. Jenny won a place on the Good Ideas Class 2017 pitching her idea that will ease the ever increasing disconnect between body and mind through community driven shiatsu. Jenny trained with Glasgow School of Shiatsu and the Mindfulness Association. Her background is in social care and community development. She uses this knowledge to inform her shiatsu practice. Offering on-site, seated shiatsu sessions and self-shiatsu workshops to community groups and corporate staff teams to improve well-being in perhaps unlikely environments.

Jenny will be introducing us to self-shiatsu and how this can be incorporated into our self care practices. You will learn some 'first aid' acupressure points and some techniques to invigorate and relax your body and mind. Shiatsu is performed fully clothed, comfortable clothes are recommended for the event!
