As women and allies living in the age of #fakenews, it’s more important than ever to arm ourselves with facts and engage with the discussion surrounding women’s rights. Join us in an informal setting over lunch, to hear from a number of TMP members.
- Monica Martins from Fearless Femme. Founder of Fearless Femme Eve Hepburn participated in the Good Ideas Class 2016-17. In February the team launched the UK magazine Fearless Femme to support fierce, intelligent women and femmes fighting mental health stigma.
- Director of Sam Pringle. She's going to be talking about the gender care gap and the domestic contract land#.
- Mairi Campbell-Jack is a writer and Parliamentary Engagement Officer for Quakers in Britain. Mairi will be giving us her Top 5 recommendations for books that have an alternative or interesting approach to representing women.
- Martin Hayward from the Equality and Human Rights Commission will draw from his work and experience to talk about women's rights.
