Edinburgh Tool Library is the UK’s first tool library, promoting sharing as a way of reducing our environmental impact, they’re also an alumni of the Good Ideas Academy. ETL are now embarking on their 'Tools for Life' programme - pairing young, unemployed people with older people acting as mentors, to support skills development and positive futures. In aid of the project they’ve organised a comedy benefit at The Stand on Wednesday 1 November, and the Potters are joining for some laughs! We will meet at The Stand at 7:30pm, when doors open. Some people will be heading straight from The Melting Pot so there will also be a wee posse at The Abbotsford from 6pm. The show starts at 8:30pm so arrive any time before then! Let Cleo know if you want to come along by e-mailing Cleo@TheMeltingPotEdinburgh.org.uk. TMP will order a load of tickets for everyone that’s RSVP’d a week or so before the show. But, feel free to sort your own ticket by purchasing it from an ETL outlet or The Stand website: http://www.thestand.co.uk/show/29103/benefit_in_aid_of_edinburgh_tool_library. Tickets are non-refundable. Support this wonderful charity by hanging out with some Potters and having a few giggles!
